Custom Size Cleanroom Turnkey Project Prefabricated Modular Cleanroom Project For Lab

Product Overview

Cleanroom

A cleanroom is a controlled environment designed and maintained to achieve a specified level of airborne cleanliness, with control of contaminants such as dust, aerosol particles, airborne microorganisms, and, where applicable, chemical vapors. Environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, differential pressure, and airflow patterns can also be controlled within defined ranges according to the cleanroom design and process requirements.

The primary purpose of a cleanroom is to help minimize contamination that could affect sensitive manufacturing processes, scientific research, or product quality. A cleanroom is more than a conventional “clean” space; it is an engineered environmental control system designed to operate according to a specified cleanliness classification and defined project requirements.

Cleanroom Description

Technical Specifications

Final specifications are determined according to the cleanroom classification, production process and project requirements.

Core Principle:Contamination Control

The fundamental principle of a cleanroom is to control and reduce airborne contaminants through a combination of filtration, airflow management, and pressure control. These systems work together according to the specified cleanliness classification and process requirements.

1. High-Efficiency Filtration:
Cleanroom air-handling systems can use HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) or ULPA (Ultra-Low Penetration Air) filters where required. Filter performance is typically specified according to the applicable filter standard and test conditions. For example, commonly referenced HEPA and ULPA filter classifications include high particle-removal efficiencies at specified test particle sizes. Actual cleanroom performance depends on the complete system design, installation, airflow organization, and testing.

2. Directed & Controlled Airflow:

   • Laminar (Unidirectional) Flow: Air is supplied in a controlled, predominantly single direction at a defined velocity to help carry airborne particles away from critical areas. This airflow arrangement can be used where the application requires higher levels of cleanliness or localized contamination control.

   • Turbulent (Non-Unidirectional) Flow: Supply air is distributed and mixed within the room to dilute and remove airborne contaminants. This approach can be applied according to the required cleanliness classification, room layout, and process conditions.

3. Pressure Differential:
Cleanroom areas can be maintained at a positive differential pressure relative to adjacent areas to help limit the ingress of contaminants from less-controlled spaces. Negative pressure configurations can be applied where containment of hazardous or potentially contaminated materials is required, subject to the specific risk assessment and ventilation design.

Cleanroom Construction Progress Record

Cleanroom Panel Delivery and Material Preparation

Cleanroom wall and ceiling panels were delivered to the project site and organized according to the installation schedule. All materials were inspected before installation to ensure compliance with project specifications and cleanroom construction requirements.

HVAC Ductwork Fabrication and Installation

The HVAC installation team carried out on-site ductwork fabrication and assembly for the cleanroom ventilation system. Proper duct routing and sealing are essential for maintaining airflow uniformity, pressure control and contamination prevention.

Cleanroom Ceiling Grid and Utility Framework Installation

The ceiling suspension system and utility support framework were installed to accommodate cleanroom panels, lighting fixtures, HEPA filtration units and process utilities. This stage forms the structural foundation for the final cleanroom enclosure.

Project Completion

Cleanroom installation completed according to the project scope.
HVAC installation and commissioning completed.
Cleanroom performance testing conducted.
Validation and project acceptance completed according to the documented project requirements.
