Modular Clean Room Air Shower with Double Doors Interlock and CE/ISO Certification

Product Overview

Air Shower

A cleanroom air shower forcibly removes particulate contaminants from personnel and equipment. This enclosed entryway chamber blasts high-velocity, HEPA-filtered air across surfaces, stripping away dust and microbes before entry into the sterile core is permitted.

How the Air Shower Works

In the personnel purification route, an air shower occupies the position between the gowning area and the controlled cleanroom area.

• 1. Personnel Entry
Personnel gain entry to the air shower from the gowning or lower-cleanliness side.
• 2. Door Interlocking
The entrance and exit doors operate under an interlocking system that helps prevent both from being opened at once during normal operation.
• 3. Air Shower Cycle
By means of directional nozzles, filtered air is supplied to remove loose particles from exposed surfaces of cleanroom garments.
• 4. Air Recirculation and Filtration
The air circulation system returns air and passes it through the filtration system according to the equipment configuration.
• 5. Cleanroom Entry
After the programmed shower cycle is over, the exit door can be released and personnel proceed into the controlled area.

Selection of the actual shower cycle, airflow configuration, filtration arrangement and control logic should be made according to the cleanroom design and project requirements.

Detailed Operational Functions

1. 1. Particle Removal & Displacement: It uses high-velocity jets of HEPA/ULPA-filtered air to dislodge, shear, and blow away attached particles from garments, equipment, and packaging surfaces.

   2. Containment & Airlock: It acts as an interlocked airlock, preventing unfiltered air from the outside area from directly flowing into the higher-classification cleanroom, thereby maintaining the pressure differential.

   3. Procedural Control: It enforces a mandatory decontamination step in the gowning procedure, ensuring protocol compliance and raising contamination control awareness.

   4. Final Cleaning Stage: It serves as the final active cleansing stage after proper gowning, targeting particles generated during the gowning process itself.

Testing & Validation

• Visual examination check
• Dimensional checking
• Door operation functioning test
• Door interlock operation check
• Fan operation functioning check
• Lighting operation functioning test
• Control panel operation functioning test
• Airflow functional verification
• HEPA integrity testing where specified

Cleanroom Applications

Air shower rooms are typically positioned within the personnel purification route between gowning areas and controlled cleanroom spaces.

Typical application examples include:

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing sites
• Healthcare and hospital facilities
• Laboratory areas and rooms
• Electronics and semiconductor facilities
• Food and beverage processing lines
• Cosmetics manufacturing processes
• Precision manufacturing lines

The air shower configuration should be selected in combination with the cleanroom layout, personnel flow, cleanliness requirements and operating procedures rather than treated as an isolated equipment component.

Products Description

• Slide rail style door closer:A slide rail door closer for air showers is a high-durability, high-precision core functional component designed to safeguard cleanroom environments.
• LCD control screen:The LCD control panel is not only the "intelligent brain" of the air shower but also a critical component that enhances equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and management standards.
• Stainless steel nozzle:For cleanrooms with high standards, high-frequency usage, and stringent certification requirements (such as those in , biotechnology, microelectronics, precision instruments, etc.), stainless steel nozzles are an essential and wise choice. They offer exceptionally long service life, nearly zero maintenance costs, and irreplaceable reliability.
• High efficiency filter:The HEPA filter is the "lungs" of the air shower, directly determining the quality of the blown air. Its ultra-high filtration efficiency, stable performance, and compliance are non-negotiable advantages.
