Customized Size Class 100 a Sampling or Weighing Booth Dispensing Booth for Cosmetics

Product Overview

LAF/Weighing Booth/Dispensing Booth

Features at a Glance

• Ultimate Contamination Control for Product and Process Safety

  • Equipped with HEPA/ULPA filters (achieving a filtration efficiency of 99.97% for particles ≥ 0.3μm), LAF systems continuously remove over 99.9% of airborne particulates and microorganisms. They can stably maintain ISO Class 5 or higher cleanliness levels, keeping microbial contamination at an extremely low range.
  • Unidirectional laminar airflow (either horizontal or vertical) operates without eddies or cross-mixing, sweeping away contaminants at a velocity of 0.3–0.5 m/s to prevent their deposition or diffusion on work surfaces. Compared with traditional ventilation systems, it reduces contamination incidents by approximately 40%.

• Strict Compliance Compatibility to Reduce Regulatory Risks

  • Precisely meets stringent industry standards such as GMP, ISO 14644-1, and USP <797>. It supports validation and auditing in critical fields like sterile , medical devices, and microelectronics, thus lowering the cost of compliance rectification.
  • The stable and predictable airflow allows for visual validation and data traceability through smoke tests and particle counting, enhancing compliance reliability.

• User-Friendly and Efficient Operation to Boost Production and Laboratory Performance

  • Localized cleanliness replaces full-room high-grade clean environments, minimizing the high-energy-consumption clean space and reducing overall construction and operational costs. Some movable/modular designs enable flexible layouts, facilitating rapid deployment of temporary or multi-point clean workstations.
  • Continuous uniform airflow ensures temperature control, eliminates hot spots, and the enclosed structure reduces noise levels. This improves operator comfort during long working hours, reduces fatigue and human errors, and contributes to a 15–20% increase in process efficiency along with a decrease in rework rates.

• Controllable Maintenance to Ensure Long-Term Stable Operation

  • Modular design standardizes maintenance operations such as filter replacement and air velocity calibration. It enables real-time monitoring of airflow velocity and particle concentration with abnormal alarm functions, reducing the risk of sudden failures.
  • It decreases reliance on frequent full-scale disinfection, extends the service life of equipment and consumables, and indirectly cuts operational costs.

• Versatile Scenario Adaptability to Flexibly Meet Diverse Requirements

  • Horizontal laminar flow is suitable for product protection scenarios such as sample preparation and weighing; vertical laminar flow can protect both operators and products (e.g., when integrated with biological safety cabinets), catering to critical workstations in laboratories, hospitals, microelectronics, and other industries.
  • It can be integrated with customized components like UV disinfection modules, glove ports, and double-door pass-through chambers to meet the needs of special processes such as sterile mixing and stem cell processing.

Products Description

• Housing/Casing: Constructed from stainless steel, aluminum, or coated galvanized steel for durability, cleanability, and corrosion resistance.

• HEPA/ULPA Filter: The core filtration element, mounted on the discharge side, providing final air cleaning.

• Centrifugal Blower Fan: Typically a backward-curved impeller design, providing stable airflow with good energy efficiency and low noise. Units may feature single or multiple fans (for redundancy).

• Pre-filter: Usually a primary (G4) or medium-efficiency (F8) filter located at the fan inlet. It protects the main HEPA filter and extends its service life by capturing larger particles.

• Control System:

  • Speed Control: Modern FFUs predominantly use Electronically Commutated (EC) motors, allowing infinite variable speed control via 0-10V DC, PWM signals, or network commands. This enables precise airflow adjustment and significant energy savings compared to older AC motor designs.

  • Monitoring: May include integrated differential pressure sensors (to monitor filter loading), status indicator lights, alarm functions, and communication interfaces for connection to Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Airflow Diffuser/Perforated Plate: Mounted below the filter, it helps to equalize and stabilize the discharged airflow, promoting uniform laminar flow.
