Product Overview

Simply put, an Air Shower is like the "dust-removal security gate" for a cleanroom. Anyone or any material entering the cleanroom must pass through this checkpoint first — it blows out high-speed purified air to remove dust, hair, and other contaminants attached to people’s clothes and material surfaces. Meanwhile, its two doors cannot be opened at the same time, which prevents unfiltered dirty air from directly getting into the cleanroom. With an air shower in place, the clean environment inside the cleanroom can be maintained consistently to meet the requirements of production and experiments.

How the Air Shower Works

As a rule, an air shower is installed between the gowning area and the controlled cleanroom area as part of the personnel purification route.

• 1. Personnel Entry
  Personnel pass into the air shower from the gowning or lower-cleanliness side.
• 2. Door Interlocking
  To help prevent both doors from opening at once during normal operation, the entrance and exit doors are controlled by an interlocking system.
• 3. Air Shower Cycle
  Filtered air passes through directional nozzles to dislodge loose particles from exposed surfaces of cleanroom garments.
• 4. Air Recirculation and Filtration
  Air is recovered by the circulation system and passed through the filtration system according to the equipment configuration.
• 5. Cleanroom Entry
  Following the programmed shower cycle, the exit door can be released and personnel move into the controlled area.
