Customized Clean Room Sliding Stainless Steel Door for Hospital,Lab,Pharmaceutical

Product Overview

Cleanroom Sliding Door

A horizontally moving door designed for controlled environments, featuring superior sealing and cleanroom-compatible materials to minimize contamination during entry and exit.

Advantages of Cleanroom Sliding Doors

1. Superior Contamination Control & Environmental Integrity

This is the primary advantage, directly protecting the core function of the cleanroom.

• • Minimized Airflow Disruption: The horizontal sliding motion eliminates the "piston effect" of swinging doors, preventing turbulent air vortices that can stir up settled particles and compromise laminar airflow.

  • Exceptional Sealing Performance: Equipped with full-perimeter gaskets (top, sides) and automatic or fixed bottom seals, they effectively isolate different cleanliness zones, maintain stable pressure differentials, and block particulate ingress.

  • Hygienic Design: Featuring smooth, flush, and crevice-free surfaces with radiused corners, constructed from non-shedding materials like stainless steel. This design prevents particle accumulation, allows for easy and thorough cleaning/disinfection, and supports aseptic protocols.

2. Operational Efficiency & Space Optimization

These advantages translate directly into daily workflow and facility layout benefits.

• • Space-Saving: The door slides parallel to the wall, occupying zero valuable floor space in front or behind the opening. This allows for flexible layout planning in equipment-dense or narrow areas.

  • Unobstructed Access: Provides a full, clear passageway ideal for moving carts, large equipment, or multiple personnel, optimizing material flow and logistics.

  • Hands-Free, Automated Operation: Activation via non-contact sensors (radar, infrared) enables touchless passage, enhancing workflow efficiency and further reducing the risk of surface-borne contamination.

3. Enhanced Safety, Control, and Compliance

These features address modern regulatory and risk management requirements.

• • Integrated Safety Features: Standard configurations include safety light curtains or sensitive leading edges for anti-pinch protection, automatic reversal upon obstruction, and emergency manual override.

  • Controlled Access Management: Can be seamlessly integrated with access control systems, electronic interlocks, air showers, or pass-through chambers. For example, double-door interlocks create a secure airlock, ensuring both doors cannot be open simultaneously—a critical control point.

  • Regulatory Compliance: The design, materials, and performance support compliance with stringent international standards such as ISO 14644, GMP (FDA/EU Annex 1), and other industry-specific certifications, making them a key asset during audits.

4. Long-Term Durability & Cost-Effectiveness

These are lifecycle advantages focusing on total cost of ownership and return on investment.

• • High Durability & Low Maintenance: Engineered for high-cycle use with robust tracks and drive systems. The simple, smooth design reduces the difficulty and cost of routine cleaning and maintenance.

  • Significant Energy Savings: Superior sealing drastically reduces the loss of conditioned air, lowering the continuous energy load on the HVAC system and directly cutting operational costs.

  • Asset & Process Protection: As a reliable environmental barrier, it safeguards sensitive processes, expensive equipment, and critical products from contamination-related failures, recalls, and losses.
